Toronto Brothels - A Student Project

Simultaneously inspired and disturbed by Victor Malarek’s findings on the international sex trade, Rebecca and Louis began to look for evidence of it in their own neighbourhoods- and didn’t have to look far. The two were determined to uncover as much as they could about the sex trade in Toronto after discovering several nearby brothels in plain sight. As they researched further into local prostitution, Rebecca and Louis soon learned of Canada’s role in the international sex slave market and vowed to fight it through action and education.
